Mainly expatriate Chinese and Hong Kong people, but not many foreigners, yet. More and more mainland Chinese are taking an interest in the posters, running off with the rare originals still available. The most famous collector is a Dutch academic, Stephen Landsberger.

Authentic posters are now scarce in China. Those available in the antique markets of Beijing or Shanghai are largely imitations.

The key is to keep it protected from humidity. If the poster is printed on a very thin paper, as is often the case, you may want to mount it on something thicker for more support. Consult a specialist.
